This May we are walking in The Mary Potter Foundation's 2024 Walk for Love.
In Loving Memory of Our Fighter, Dad.
We are embarking on 'The Walk of Love' in honour of our beloved Father, Husband, Son and Brother, Tony.
Tony passed away peacefully on the 7th of October 2023 surrounded by his loving family, after bravely battling cancer. At 63, he left behind a legacy filled with countless cherished memories, yet with so much more life to live.
During his final weeks, Tony received exceptional care from the compassionate team at Mary Potter Hospice Palliative Care Unit. They not only catered to a typical family but also embraced the warmth and love of our BIG Italian Di Giovanni family. Recognising the paramount importance of family to Tony, they made every moment count, offering services that created lasting memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
This year our family is taking part in 'The Walk of Love', which provides a meaningful opportunity to celebrate and honour the life, courage, and memory of our dad, Tony. It also plays a crucial role in raising essential funds to extend compassionate care and unwavering support to patients and families under their care at the Hospice.
The Foundation aims to assist hundreds of patients and families across Mary Potter Hospice, the Palliative Home Care Service, Calvary Cancer Services, and Aged Care Services. We kindly invite you to join us in this honourable cause by donating to our fundraising page. We anticipate a walk filled with heartfelt smiles and emotional moments.
