We will be hosting a separate Walk for Love for those who live in the northern suburbs or have lost someone in the Mary Potter Northern Supportive Care Unit.

You are invited to join us at our 2022 Walk for Love – Elizabeth Vale on Sunday 15 May 2022 at 10am.

The Walk will start and finish at the venue shown below.

Our Walk is approximately 3km and is pram, dog and wheelchair friendly.

There is no cost to register, however, we ask you to dig deep and make a personal gift from your heart. Your gift will provide additional support and care for patients and families in the Mary Potter Northern Supportive Care Unit.

You could even go one step further and do something extra-special - fundraise among your friends, family, and colleagues. By asking them to support you with a small donation, you can make a big difference by providing special moments of unexpected care to patients and families in our care.

If you are registering a new team or joining an existing team, you will be asked at the end of the registration process to creat a team or link to an existing team. 

Once you have registered, we will post your Welcome Pack to you. 

If you register within two weeks of the Walk, you Welcome Pack will be available for collection at the event.

Your pack will include an Event and Fundraising Guide (which has everything you need to know about the event, including a reminder of what time to arrive, the event address and what to bring). You will also receive a map and your Walk for Love bib to wear on the day. Your bib will display the name of who you are walking in memory of and your team name (if applicable). 

Walk for Love T-shirts are available @ $20 each and dog bandanas $10 each. After registering, go to 'Shop' to purchase. Stocks are limited.

Are you registering a team or joining an existing team?

If you are, you must register yourself (and anyone else from your household) first, and then before you complete your registration, you will be asked if you wish to create a team or join an existing team. You will be asked to register your team name or use the search function to find your team.

What you will need

Please pin your Walk for Love bib over weather appropriate clothing, wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella (if desired).

Please bring with you:

• Your bib to wear in honour of your loved one/s
• Sun protection including a hat an sunscreen
• Money for the BBQ, cake stall and coffee stand
• Umbrella if it is forecast to rain
• Return your Walk for Love collection box (if you requested one)
• Any cash donations and your receipt book or your Donation and Receipt Form from your Event and Fundraising Guide.
• Please remember to bring a short leash if you are bringing your dog.
• A mask to wear in the Walk for Love Village to keep everyone safe against COVID-19. 
• A water bottle to refill along the route

A map will be included in your pack and more copies will be available at the Walk.

Walk will commence at 10am. Please arrive from 9.30am.

There is limited Disabled parking inside the car park of the Hospital.

Unlimited parking along Jarvis Road

Ticket Details

Please note that due to COVID restrictions you must register by 5pm on Friday 13 May 2022.

If you register before 1 May 2022, your pack will be posted to you.

Register between 1 May – 13 May - Your pack will be available for collection at the event. Please come to the Event Info Desk to collect.

2022 Walk for Love Commemorative T-shirt 

The Walk for Love is The Mary Potter Foundation's biggest fundraising event of the year and what we can do to help palliative patients and their families relies heavily on how much we can collectively raise.

Thanks to our 2022 event partners there is a reward for participants who decide to take one step further and help fundraise to support patient care. 

We are delighted to let you know that the first 200 eleigible fundraisers will be gifted a 2022 Walk for Love Commemorative T-shirt to wear on the Walk.

To qualify you must be one of the first 200 participants to receive at least one donation from someone else and let us know that you are actively fundraising!
